I have been an Army spouse for 19 years and have PCSed 8 times. Apparently moving 8 times isn’t enough though because we’ve also moved into new rentals or purchased homes within those PCSes. I have purchased and rented a place sight unseen and in person. I am a firm believer in the feeling you get when walking into a home. Unfortunately with the home and rentals we moved into sight unseen, I never really enjoyed the place because I didn’t get that full picture that produces that feeling. This is one of the reasons I wanted to be a Millie Scout.
My family and I have lived in El Paso for 3 years total and I worked as a home nurse, which means I drove ALL over every part of the city and went inside many many homes. I am already familiar with the dynamics with the city, commute time, road/plane noise etc.
