I am a proud Army wife and mother of two amazing kids. We have been lucky enough to PCS four times in four years. We've been stationed in Oklahoma, Mississippi, Kansas, and Texas. This last time we decided to go all out and do our first full DITY (PPM) four days after my husband came home from a year-long deployment. Never a dull moment around here.
We are real estate investors. We currently own five homes in three states, with five units being rentals. I self-manage four of the units in two different states. We purchased three of our homes sight unseen with the help of a trusted RE agent and inspector. My husband had a goal of owning four homes by age 40. Let's just say we're way ahead of the game, and I doubt we'll stop there.
Growing up in Kansas, my Dad owned a construction company and I'm thankful to have learned a lot from him. In fact, my first job was working for him. He would put me to work painting outside and told me I could do more as soon as I mastered that. So I did. We just recently did some renovations on one of our rentals and I felt right at home working with the construction company and contractors.

I wish I had found Laci as a Millie Scout years ago! She is the best! She is honest, caring, empathetic, very responsive to messages and most importantly, she is very knowledgeable in the world of real estates and rentals. Laci saved us from having to make a plane trip to search for rentals. She was very quick to set up home tours for the rentals that we were interested in. I appreciated her thoughtful updates about dates and times for house viewing and she kept in contact with property managers to ensure that the house was available for her to view. Not only was she able to take pictures of the inside of the rentals for us, but she provided detailed feedbacks about her thoughts, concerns, hidden flaws and potential issues with the house condition. I felt she treated me like family because she understood my fears and concerns of renting sight unseen so she provided genuine answers to all my questions. Laci was more than helpful and went above and beyond. I was worried and nervous to use a scout for the first time. She answered all my questions and even brought a few to me that I didn't think to ask.
Laci once again performed a fantastic job. We were going to look at another house but ended up getting the first house she viewed for us. She went above and beyond her duties. She sent several properties for me to look at as well as a house in your neighborhood for rent. She went by the house and took pictures, contacted the builder for the floor plan, as well as inquiring about whether the house was still available or not. Laci was even willing to make two trips from West El Paso to East El Paso because of a rescheduling conflict with one of the agents. I highly recommend Laci for helping with your house hunting needs.
