I'm been married to my Sailor for 28+ years - and we've been literally on the move since then! We are a 27-year-career Navy family. With three boys, two dogs and multiple fish, we are involved in our community - both civilian and military. We've been stationed up and down both the east and west coasts, twice to Europe and once to the mid-south. We've moved 10 times in the past 17 years (13 times total) and I understand the stress of finding a new home, good schools, perhaps a job or volunteer opportunities for the spouse and linking up with military resources and families. I exhaustively research each of our new duty stations for location, transit, schools - and the fun things to do as well! I have scouted/reviewed housing and neighborhoods for friends and acquaintances (before a great resource like MILLIE Scout was available), and have a good eye for design, livability and neighborhood community.
