Hello and welcome to SCOUT! My name is Elaine. I have been a Army wife since 2001. I also spent some of my childhood as a Army brat. My husband and I have two amazing kiddos. As well as one furbaby. I have conquered many PCS moves and I have loved everyone of them. Call me crazy but I love moving to new places and meeting new people. We have lived at Joint Base Lewis McChord WA twice, Fort Bragg NC twice ( this does not include my time here as a child) Fort Bliss TX, South Korea and Fort Jackson SC. During our time in SC we became home owners. When the time came to PCS I became a landlord. I had been self managing for 8 years. I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly of renting a property. I also know the stresses of renting out a home as well as moving to a new place. Not having a clue on the area can be scary. I'm very familiar with Fort Bragg and the surrounding areas. I consider this area my second home. We have lived in Spring Lake, Raeford, Fayetteville as well as in post housing. I am currently living north of the Fayetteville area.
My passion is my family and helping other. My husband tends to think I do to much, but when you know your calling you give it your all. Spending time outdoors fishing, camping or just going and exploring a new place is also some of the things I enjoy. Nothing like being one with nature. I'm always up for an adventure. I also enjoy reading and movies. I am what you call a die hard Goonies fan. So much of a fan that I have been to Astoria Oregon multiple times to check out all the locations that the film was taped. As far a books I am and will always be a huge fan of Twilight. I have explored the area that the books where written to have taken place. Like I said I love adventures and exploring.
