Misty A

I am a military wife of 17 years. My husband recently retired from Redstone Arsenal, where he now works at PEO Aviation. We have made Huntsville our forever home and we LOVE it here! We've lived in the Big Cove/Hampton Cove area of town for the last 6 years, but I am familiar with most parts of Huntsville, including Madison and Owens Cross Roads.

I am originally from East Texas and graduated from TCU in Fort Worth (Go Frogs!). I earned an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin while we were stationed at Fort Hood (Hook 'Em!). I have worked for the Army as an active duty soldier, contractor, and DA civilian, but I now stay at home with our 2 girls, ages 11 and 8, who enjoy sports and playing games. We love animals-- we have 2 cats, a dog, and a fish. I am currently a full-time volunteer, and enjoy traveling, watching football, and reading.

I also LOVE looking at houses! I'm considering real estate as a career when I grow up (I browse realtor.com and Zillow for fun!), but haven't pulled the trigger yet. We've bought, built, sold, and rented several houses and I've helped a few military friends find their house here in Huntsville. I have also managed two rental properties of our own from out of town so I understand how that goes and would love to help you!
